Why a tipi vs. a tent or a wall tent?

A tipi is more than a tent. It’s a shelter, in which you can safely make a fire, cook, hang out with your family and friends, and sleep. You can stay comfortable in a tipi, even in the midst of a cold Canadian winter! A tipi is a compact and solid structure that can be left up for months at a time.

Does the Easy Tipi come with poles?

No, the Easy Tipi does not come with poles. The Easy Tipi package contains the main tarp, a 50’ rope to assemble and raise the frame, and 2 smaller roles for securing the smoke flaps, and for securing the tarp to the anchors. We will be creating a video explaining how to make your own tipi poles very soon.

How do I set up the tipi? How long does it take?

In our opinion, the Easy Tipi is the easiest tipi on the market! Follow the instructions in our Easy TIpi Set-Up video and you’ll have your tipi setup in 30 minutes or less.

How big is the tipi when it’s rolled up for storage?

The Easy Tipi is very compact when it’s rolled up for storage and can easily fit into a standard sized storage tote (16” x 20” x 29”). The tarps weighs approximately 40 lbs.
